Scott Reall

Founder & Executive Director

  • Scott grew up in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated from Otterbein University in 1976 with a B.A. in Health and Exercise Science. Scott was an athlete through college and became a coach before joining the Green Hills Family YMCA in Nashville, TN as the Senior Wellness Director in 1988. Upon winning the YMCA of the USA Armstrong Award, Scott returned to school and attended Masters level classes in Theology from Covenant Seminary. In addition, Scott has completed Stage II™ Recovery Training and is certified in The Grief Recovery Method ®

    At this point, Scott has led thousands of small groups and consistently meets with individuals to support their journey to transformation. Scott has also written 5 books: Journey to Freedom, Journey to Healthy Living, Journey to A Life of Significance, Journey to Living with Courage, and Journey to Life after Loss. Journey to Freedom has been translated into Russian, Spanish, Ukrainian, French, German, and Swahili. He travels globally to aid in the growth of Journey small group efforts in Ukraine, Belize and beyond. Scott lives in Nashville, Tennessee and is an avid hiker, golfer and dog rescuer.
